movies

Saw the movie Kanda Naal Mudhal, its really good. 3 songs are beautiful. Try to see it. Last week I saw lots of movies

  1. Dhavamai Dhavamerunthu
  2. King Kong
  3. Kanda Naal Mudhal
  4. The Myth

All movies are good. My wife went to her mothers place and its party time for me!!!

Could not see the movie "Dhavamai Dhavamerunthu" fully because of bad seats in Murugha Theatre at Villupuram. But the movie is good.
Went to "King Kong" thinking thats it going to be another hollywood crap. Surprsingly its good. Good Herosim from the chimp. Saw the movie at "AVM Rajeswari" theatre, its one among the good theatres in chennai and its too close to my house.
" Kanda Naal Mudhal" , the new lady director really done good work. The movie is some what dramatic but its good. Her direction is lot better Manirathnam (her master). I some how don't enjoy Manirathnam movies for so many reasons. Saw the movie at Mini Udayam, the seating for Rs 35 is too bad and my knees started aching.

"The Myth" is wonderful. The picturisation is too good. Mallilka Sherawat is also good ;-). Jackie chan made good use of her ;-). Saw the movie at Subham, its worth for Rs 75. Booked the ticket thru internet, just Rs 5 extra. Got a royal treatment at Satyam while getting original tickets by showing booking number. I guess Satyam theatre want to get rid of maunal booking completely.

Bought the Palio

20-Feb-2005, I bought a used Palio. But the car looks brand new.

Its a great machine, its a pleasure to drive the car. Gear shifting cannot be softer than this (atleast in B & C segment).

I just wonder why people ignore this great machine and buy some tin-boxes.

Palio - The great hattchback in India

I love Fiat Palio. I want to buy it immediately.

It is suppose to be best HatchBack in India.

Its no way correct to compare Palio and Sanro or Wagon R. Even Palio wins the comparison in all aspects in a great margin and loses marginally it Fuel Economy (with City).

Its right to compare Palio and Getz. Here Palio clearly wins in "Value for Money" factor.

Fiat Palio NV gives 11 km/lit in City. Santro gives 12-13 km/lit. Is this reason enough to drop palio from the list.

What Palio can offer?

1. A superior ride and handling.
2. Higher safety.
3. Very spacious ( A mother can comfortably feed his baby by sitting in Palio. Froget it in Santro or Wangon R).
4. Great look. Beautiful colors.
5. Great support from PalioUsersIndia yahoo group.
6. And it last for more than 10 years.

What Palio cannot offer?
1. Dealers won't give discount. (Quality and discount won't go together).

Friends, if you think about investing money in a Car, buy Palio.

Da Vinci Code

The first english novel I am reading. Thanks a lot to Krish for encouraging me.

Encouragement always does a magic.

In my life I never thought of reading a english novel, for the reason, I would never understand and enjoy the flow as much I enjoy "Kalki"s writing. But Krish said, just start of with a book and you will start enjoying it. '

True, I am really enjoy reading Da Vinci Code.

Well, this novel running around a biggest secret in this Universe. But I am sure, there is no such secret exist in this world.

The only biggest secret (information) can be is
What is GOD or divine ?
How to realize it (lay man's term, how to see the GOD)?

But the are no more secrets. These questions are very much clearly, precisly answered by Vallalar , Aravind (Aurobindo) and so many other Gnanis.

Sivan Malai!!

There is a serial named Sivan-Malai running in Sun TV (saturday 9:00pm). It touches some good topics but still it lacks to deliver the important thing ... What is GOD?

Does GOD lies in statue or in stone?

Certainly not!

Then where the so called GOD ...the supreme power exist?

In what form it exist?
Can we see it in naked eyes ?
Can imgaine it as a there dimension figure?
Is our six senses enough to identify it?

think .....meditate ....u'll realize it one day!!

What is lsass.exe

Is lsass.exe spyware or a virus?

But it killed my time. Yes its a virus.

what is lsass.exe?

"lsass.exe" is the Local Security Authentication Server. It verifies the validity of user logons to your PC/Server. It generates the process responsible for authenticating users for the Winlogon service. This process is performed by using authentication packages such as the default Msgina.dll. If authentication is successful, Lsass generates the user's access token, which is used to launch the initial shell. Other processes that the user initiates inherit this token

Impact:

A side-effect of the worm is for LSASS.EXE to crash, by default such system will reboot after the crash occurs. The following Window may be displayed:

How it spreads?

The worm spreads with the file name: avserve.exe . Unlike many recent worms, this virus does not spread via email. No user intervention is required to become infected or propagate the virus further. The worm works by instructing vulnerable systems to download and execute the viral code.

The virus copies itself to the Windows directory as avserve.exe and creates a registry run key to load itself at startup
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "avserve.exe" = C:\WINDOWS\avserve.exe
As the worm scans random ip addresses it listens on successive TCP ports starting at 1068. It also acts as an FTP server on TCP port 5554, and creates a remote shell on TCP port 9996.
A file named win.log is created on the root of the C: drive. This file contains the IP address of the localhost.
Copies of the worm are created in the Windows System directory as #_up.exe.
Examples
c:\WINDOWS\system32\11583_up.exe
c:\WINDOWS\system32\16913_up.exe
c:\WINDOWS\system32\29739_up.exe

Method of Infection:

This worm spreads by exploiting a recent Microsoft vulnerability, spreading from machine to machine with no user intervention required.
This worm scans random IP addresses for exploitable systems. When one is found, the worm exploits the vulnerable system, by overflowing a buffer in LSASS.EXE. It creates a remote shell on TCP port 9996. Next it creates an FTP script named cmd.ftp on the remote host and executes it. This FTP script instructs the target victim to download and execute the worm (with the filename #_up.exe as aforementioned) from the infected host. The infected host accepts this FTP traffic on TCP port 5554.
The worm spawns multiple threads, some of which scan the local class A subnet, others the class B subnet, and others completely random subnets. The destination port is TCP 445

Infected systems should install the Microsoft update to be protected from the exploit used by this worm. See:http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS04-011.mspx
